Jenny Friedle
Growing up just outside Potawatomi State Park, Jenny is inspired by her parents who taught her a deep respect for the outdoors and service; she learned early on the importance of protecting and preserving our environment. For over 25 years, Jenny thrived in the urban corporate world living outside WI and internationally, gaining diverse experiences that broadened her perspective on environmental stewardship. This background allows her to bring valuable insights and expertise to the board, helping advance its mission of volunteerism and preserving and enhancing the park’s natural beauty and programming. Since returning home to Nasewaupee last year and joining the board in 2025, Jenny has played a vital role serving as co-director of the 37th annual Run Wild, Marketing Committee member, and actively volunteers outdoors to support the Friends and Park initiatives.

Bill's family has been enjoying Potawatomi State Park since the mid 1960s. In the early 1990s they participated in Run Wild each fall. When the DNR cancelled Run Wild, Bill & others incorporated the new Friends Group in late 1995. They have supported the Park & staff in many projects and Run Wild has been a huge success every fall since then!
Alec and Shelley Cook-Bath
With an Ephraim cottage in the family for 70+ years, Alec was a 4th-generation Door County summer vacationer. Since 2023, with wife Shelley (and the kids all off to college), they've now made Door County their full-time residence, and couldn't be happier! As avid competitive runners for 30+ years, they've taken the reins, alongside Jenny & Jolene, as co-race-directors of Run Wild!, and continue to explore the many hidden gems within Potawatomi, and the many other parks on the peninsula. The couple looks forward to retirement, as they're also been quite busy as Track & Field coaches at Sevastopol, beekeepers, hobby farmers, maple-sugarers, aurora-chasers, and supporting the many local conservation initiatives.
